まあ、これはミリバンドは理事を続けるわけにはいかないですね。お父さん（英ニュー・レフトの重鎮、ラルフ・ミリバンド）がファシズムをまともに食らって大陸から英国に渡った人であり、そのせいで一家離散（戦後再会）を経験している。母方はホロコーストで……。
ディ・カーニオは2005年、現役（ラツィオ）時代にこれやってますしね。（いくら政界風見鶏のミリバンド兄でも、これはスルーすれば一貫性が問われる。）
それも、例えば、グラスゴーでプレイしていたころのガッザの「フルート」（北アイルランド紛争の文脈でいうプロテスタント過激派への支持）のような「IRAの暴力に反対する＝ロイヤリスト支持」という単細胞な義憤の現れ（であるにしてもあれはひどいが）ですらなく、この人はDuceと彫り物を入れてるくらいの筋金入り。
