コンピューティングの次の大きな波について、人々が身につけるものや、移動に利用するあらゆるものにコンピューターが搭載されるとして、この流れを「wearables（ウェアラブル）」「drivables（ドライヴァブル）」「flyables（フライヤブル）」「scannables（スキャナブル）」という言葉で表現。特に健康管理用のリストバンドから「Google Glass」までを含むウェアラブル分野については、「テクノロジーの普及には普通10年程度かかるものだが、ウェアラブルの場合はそれよりも早いペースで普及が進む」と語った。
