フランスの最も美しい村 とは
質の良い遺産を多く持つ田舎の小さな村の観光を促進する協会
・人口が2000人を超えないこと
・最低2つの遺産・遺跡（景観、芸術、科学、歴史の面で）があり土地利用計画で保護のための政策が行われていること
・コミューン議会で同意が得られていること
などの条件を満たした村が「フランスの最も美しい村」の称号を得ることが出来る
